  • The german aid contractor seems to have the unfortunate acronym of GIZ

Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusamenarbeit (GiZ)

Tailor-made solutions for challenging issues: this is what GIZ offers its clients. As a competent service provider, GIZ supports the federal government in achieving its goals.

I just got a card from them. Should someone tell them? They seem to revel in the title. Maybe they offer special services.

    Any other examples you know?

Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

I'm old and harmless now, just a walking ATM machine to the young ladies.

I have a friend named Giselle whom I occasionally call Gis or Gissy.
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

Those Germans aren't so innocent... they know exactly what they are doing!
To us, it is the BEAST.

A while ago the old GS Guys who brought us BRIC suggested a new basket of countries worth investing in: Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and Turkey. Unfortunatly the Akronym MIST in German means Manure..

( Its has been reworked to SMIT since then)
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

Good thing to know - never ask a German masseuse to cover you in a fine mist after a rubdown, unless that's what you're into.
