    Happy New year!

    Anyone else die last year? I only ask because I spent NYE getting a quintuple bypass. I regained consciousness around midnight Dec. 31st in a fifth floor ICU with a window facing our city's fireworks display. New year, new life.

    ...and because I live in a land of socialist medicine, I keep my life and will not lose my life savings!

          Unless you've been stripped of everything else it's meaningless.

            Unless you've been stripped of everything else it's meaningless.
            Not only that, but for the next 2+ weeks, the State is having a public health nurse visit/invade me daily (to measure my vitals and make sure I'm eating and taking meds) and have assigned me a housekeeper (once every 2 weeks). At least we don't have Pharmacare in Canada.
            Also, my lead surgeon is of Korean descent, so I will probably develop a craving for Kimchi.
