There are several reasons for this but they all amount to the same - I can't justify wasting time here anymore.
Sorry to hear that... I hope the dead pool continues.
BUT YOU WILL BE MISSED BIG TIME.

          • RIP, Lee Crystal. He was best known as drummer for Joan Jett & The Blackhearts in the 80s.

He passed away from complications from multiple sclerosis, which he was diagnosed with in 1993.

Crystal was the Blackhearts’ drummer from 1981-86, playing on the band’s most popular recordings, including the LPs ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’ and ‘Album.’ Together, the Top 20 records yielded Jett’s hit single covers of Sly & the Family Stone’s ‘Everyday People,’ Tommy James and the Shondells’ ‘Crimson and Clover’ and ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,’ which reached No. 1.

                  • Dead Pool news.... in a roundabout sort of way...

Andy Kaufman's brother has fueled the mystery surrounding the comedian's death by claiming the funnyman is still alive and even fathered a daughter after he is said to have lost his battle with lung cancer.

The Taxi star passed away at the age of 35 in 1984, but fans have long speculated that his death was a hoax.

Rumours about Kaufman's fate resurfaced on Monday after his brother Michael gave a bizarre speech during the annual Andy Kaufman Awards in New York City.

Michael told the audience that he believes the funnyman faked his own death, and alleged that he discovered an essay written by Andy which included details on how he planned to pull it off.

He also claimed the letter instructed him to go to a specific restaurant on Christmas Eve, 1999, upon which an anonymous man handed him another missive, which he read aloud to the New York City crowd.

Andy allegedly wrote "everything was great in his life and he just wanted to get away from being Andy Kaufman," adding that he had fallen in love with a woman and the couple were raising a daughter together.

At that point, Michael shocked the audience by bringing a young woman onto stage and introduced her as the 24-year-old daughter Andy spoke of in the letter.

In video footage taken at Monday's event, obtained by TMZ, the unnamed woman backed Michael's story and claimed Andy has been living in secret as a stay-at-home dad.

She also claimed that Andy originally agreed to come out of hiding after 29 years to attend the awards, but backed out at the last minute.

The Hollywood Reporter has since contacted Michael, who claimed the mystery woman was impossible to reach for further questions.

If Kaufman was still alive today, he would be 64 years old.

                    • Woo hoo the world got a little lighter. A renowned con-artist has dropped dead.

(CNN) -- Renowned psychic Sylvia Browne -- a leader in the paranormal world who appeared regularly on television and radio and also wrote dozens of top-selling books -- died Wednesday in a northern California hospital, according to her website.

                      She was 77.

A believer in reincarnation as well as God, Browne conducted thousands of hypnotic regressions and hundreds of trance sessions to help people around the world, according to her official biography. She explained on CNN's Larry King Live that she both communicated with the dead and looked into the future.

                          • Mad Dog Vachon is dead.
                            http://www.winnipegsun.com/2013/11/2...og-vachon-dies
I remember feeling awkward phoning Maurice (Mad Dog) Vachon that morning.

I was a big wrestling fan as a kid and the Mad Dog was a legend.

Winnipeg radio personality and former World Wrestling Federation announcer Joe Aiello was hosting a tribute show for Vachon in January 2002. He gave me Vachon's number in Iowa, so I could interview him in advance of the show.

I knew it was Mad Dog when he answered, recognizing the voice from all those colourful interviews in the 1970s and '80s, but I still asked to speak to Mr. Vachon.

"Ya, you got da Mad Dog," he said with his familiar growl, then he chuckled, instantly putting me at ease.

Vachon, who lived in St. Boniface during his American Wrestling Association days in the early 1980s, died of natural causes early Thursday at his home in Omaha, Neb.

                            He was 84.

Vachon was such a national icon, his passing drew a comment from the Prime Minister.

"My deepest condolences to the family of Maurice 'Mad Dog' Vachon, a Canadian wrestling legend," Stephen Harper tweeted.

Bob Holliday, a former AWA employee and longtime friend of Vachon's, spoke with Vachon's wife, Kathie, on Thursday. Vachon suffered from several health issues and passed away in his sleep, Holliday said.

Holliday recalled how former wrestler Jesse (The Body) Ventura called Vachon the toughest man he ever met. However, Mad Dog was very tame outside the ring.

"He used to sunbathe in my backyard and after he moved away I was still getting kids knocking on my door saying 'Can Mad Dog come out and play?'" Holliday said.

Holliday has fond memories of sharing meals with Vachon at St. Boniface's Red Top Drive Inn.

"He loved their chicken, but he didn't want fries," Holliday said. "That's why the Red Top has chicken and spaghetti on their menu."

Vachon grew up in Montreal and represented Canada as an 18-year-old amateur wrestler in the 1948 Olympics in London. He followed it with a gold medal at the 1950 British Empire Games, before working as a bouncer and becoming a professional wrestler. He was a 2010 World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame inductee.

In the ring, he would routinely bite and stomp his opponents, pull their hair and rake his fingernails down their backs. Vachon, along with The Crusher and Baron Von Raschke, were the last of an era before WWE owner Vince McMahon, who leaned more toward wrestlers with bodybuilding resumes, said Aiello.

"He was the one guy you didn't want to cross," Aiello said. "He was fair, friendly and always wanted to do business, but there was a certain respect about his legit toughness.

"Yet when we got to know him, you would never know he had a mean streak. He was just the nicest man."
I remember watching him with my grandmother, who used to yell at the television whenever he fought dirty.
