New MMO game: Fallen Earth

It had a ton of potential, but it was pretty dull when I played.

I hate when games do that. An FPS MMO is a cool idea, especially one that's in the Fallout/Wasteland tradition.

I played Fallen Earth with a mate for a month or two earlier in the year. It's quite good fun, but feels a bit scrappy in places. Wasn't a fan of the combat system. Some interesting ideas in there though.

Almost every single MMO on the market now - including this one - is a clone of Everquest, since this kind of gameplay scales easily with the number of players..

The cool kids play Star Wars Galaxies Emu.

I never really got into WoW, Lord of the Rings Online just blew it away in my opinion. Partly because I'm a Tolkien geek.
