I don't like anybody named Cunningham.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Yeah, TMM threads are worse that MrFun's. MrFun at least attempts to contribute to his topics.

Meh, I have no problem blaming politicians for hiring mistakes even if they didn't personally do it - you're responsible for what your staff does.

There are plenty of better things to criticize than the hiring of a sketchy unpaid intern. Many of these interns only hang around for a couple months, and I'm sure many Senators can't even remember the names of their interns.
          John Brown did nothing wrong.

As stated before, the problem isn't so much the senator -- that's just the cherry on top -- but the obvious politicization of the most intrusive agency in our government.

TMM, you miss my point. Whether or not the Senator did anything wrong, had DHS arrested this guy a few days/weeks before the election, it might have had an effect on the election (he might have lost some votes). I don't disagree at all with them delaying the arrest for a few weeks, considering it's probably a minor issue anyway. Perhaps DHS is corrupt - you won't have any arguments from me there - but in this particular incident I agree with their delay.

This whole "sex offender" bull**** needs to go away. It doesn't help anybody. If a person is not a threat, they shouldn't have to live with some made up label for the rest of their lives.

If a "sex offender" is so dangerous that they need to be on a list the rest of their lives, then they probably should just be in jail or prison or shot in the head.
To us, it is the BEAST.
