You're right, one American woman was at the Embassy getting some paperwork done, when she was killed. None of the staff was killed.
    John Brown did nothing wrong.

      2004 Consulate attack:
On December 6, militants staged perhaps their most brazen attack, the storming of the American consulate in Jeddah. They breached the compound's outer wall and began shooting. A Yemeni, a Sudanese, a Filipino, a Pakistani and a Sri Lankan—all employees of the consulate—were killed, and about ten others were wounded.

So breaching the perimeter and killing the consulate employees don't count unless the victims are American. Correct?

The embassy security forces engaged. An American died. This isn't policing the world, it's protecting your own citizens with your own security forces.
The diplomatic missions were attacked. You're pretending like these attacks were as serious as the Benghazi attack, which they clearly were not. Why should Congress investigate every time a bomb goes off outside a consulate? It sucks, but it's nothing like a consulate being overrun and burned, with four dead Americans, and three wounded. Pull your head out of your ass, accept that these aren't nearly the same thing, and move on.

So now Felch has moved his goal posts to, "only American STAFF counts."

Was the consulate overrun and burned to the ****ing ground? Was an ambassador killed? No, not even Jeddah was anything like Benghazi.

How is that not nearly the same thing? Terrorists breached the perimeter and killed four employees.

So now the goal post is if there was fire and an ambassador killed.

Here I was thinking we were talking about defending the consulate and its employees from attacks. I didn't know we only cared about specific combinations of things.

I'm done for now, your squirming isn't nearly as adorable as some other people here.

You want to open an investigation about a woman being killed in Yemen, but you want to whitewash four other people being killed in Benghazi?

I should start taking notes of the different goal posts, and how often each of these goal posts are being moved.

No. I want you to admit that your professed "concern" about the lives lost at Benghazi is politically motivated.

Squirming? You're the fool who fell for an obviously biased piece of propaganda, and now you're trying to pretend like these are all the same as Benghazi. The consulate at Jeddah was not overrun, and the ambassador to Saudi Arabia was not murdered. Those aren't minor details, they're the difference between successfully repelling an attack and being beaten.

                        • Four employee deaths and breached perimeter is not success.

                          • What should the US have done to prevent Saudi terrorists from acquiring explosives? What should the US have done to prevent Saudi terrorists from getting guns? Once you have the explosives and guns, it's pretty trivial to breach a wall and kill a few people.

                            • What's your solution Asher? You want Americans to kick down your door and search your home for explosives? It's the only way we can meet your absurd standards for embassy security.

                              • My high school Artificial Intelligence teacher recently got a PhD in computational fluid dynamics. One of the projects he worked on during his thesis was bomb-proofing US embassies in the middle east. The US already spends gobs on money on trying to keep embassies secure. At some point, preparation only does so much.

(I have heard that he got offers from Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman to make gobs of money but he is back at TJHSST teaching computer science. I guess he just doesn't like money all that much.)
