So breaching the perimeter and killing the consulate employees don't count unless the victims are American. Correct?

Squirming? You're the fool who fell for an obviously biased piece of propaganda, and now you're trying to pretend like these are all the same as Benghazi. The consulate at Jeddah was not overrun, and the ambassador to Saudi Arabia was not murdered. Those aren't minor details, they're the difference between successfully repelling an attack and being beaten.

What should the US have done to prevent Saudi terrorists from acquiring explosives? What should the US have done to prevent Saudi terrorists from getting guns? Once you have the explosives and guns, it's pretty trivial to breach a wall and kill a few people.

My high school Artificial Intelligence teacher recently got a PhD in computational fluid dynamics. One of the projects he worked on during his thesis was bomb-proofing US embassies in the middle east. The US already spends gobs on money on trying to keep embassies secure. At some point, preparation only does so much.

(I have heard that he got offers from Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman to make gobs of money but he is back at TJHSST teaching computer science. I guess he just doesn't like money all that much.)
