I think it's the hypersensitivity that makes it funny.

Yes, it is horrible to point out the flaws and hypocrisy in things which you consider sacred but are completely unable to come up with a cogent argument against. You're beginning to sounds more and more like the shrieking religious loon in the cartoon.

Religion does not get some special status of its own making it immune to critiques even if that makes you a sad little panda who cries. If hypocritical bull**** or nonsense comes out of religions or religious people then it is a fair target for ridicule just like any other topic. Tough your skin and stop whining.

No, I actually encourage it. It's one important reason why I keep coming back here.

Can you give me an example?

Oh, without a doubt. They're the worst at being tolerant of others yet they are hypersensitive to anyone else doing the EXACT SAME THING to them. This is called hypocrisy and hypocrisy is always ripe to be made fun of.

Have you ever considered that your perceptions might be screwing you up?

No, laws exist to stop you from inflicting harm on others without their consent. Unless, of course, it's a law against smoking pot, or prostitution, or gambling, or a ban on same sex marriage...

You have never intentionally posted something funny on these forums, and as such are not the best judge of what is and isn't funny. Tell us your favorite joke so we can perform a humor assessment.

Or laws that stop you from going without health insurance.

Isn't inflicting harm against someone without their consent immoral?

There are obviously about a million laws that aren't about morality, but don't pretend you don't support laws that are.

You aren't stuffing your moral beliefs down anyone's throats when you insist that they don't kill you. That's ridiculous.
