We sometimes rate trolls on a scale from 0 to 10, with what would appear to be any real number in that range as a possible answer. 4, 0.0001, 1/3, pi/2, etc. Does this indicate that approval is classical, or that approval as it exists on the scale of internet trolling is too large to exhibit quantum properties? Perhaps there is some planck-scale approval quanta that we have yet to observe?
On the other hand, we often rate posts with , which can obviously only be expressed in integer values. This would strongly hint at the quantum nature of approval, but there is an alternative. It's possible that we only measure such approval in discrete amounts, but that between measurements (forum views), posts can and do possess any and all possible values.
