    Obama doing AMA on Reddit

    Apparently Barack Obama is doing an Ask Me Anything right now on Reddit.

        Mr. President, why do you answer questions from Reddit but refuse to hold actual press conferences with real reporters?

              Also, no, it's because reporters actually force him to reveal his viewpoints on stuff, resulting in problems like "you didn't build that" and not being able to say what the capital of Israel is. (That last one may have been Jay Carney, I forget). Reddit is of course a massive socialist circlejerk that climbs all up and down his dick.

                      Very few intelligent people enroll in journalism. Very few intelligent people think it's a good idea to be employed by a newspaper or TV station. Very few intelligent people devote their life to politics in some form or another. You've got a several intersections of tremendous stupidity that culminates in the political reporter.

                        I agree with all of these statements. Reddit is still ****ing retarded.

                        However, there ARE intelligent members of the political commentariat. George Will is smart. Krauthammer is smart. Krugman is smart, although he's a serial liar.

                          Did anyone hear about the Secret Service agent who left a fully automatic firearm in the bathroom of Romney's charter plane while he was on board yesterday, which by the grace of God alone was intercepted by a CBS reporter before Cenk Uygur could use it to hijack the snack cart? Why did no one ask Obama about this? Normally when I take a dead drop in a toilet an Uzi doesn't come out, but then I'm not a federal agent hired by the president to protect his only main political rival.

                          The politics subreddit is hilarious. I honestly have no idea how these people (most of them broke college kids) can be so hateful, depraved and unoriginal that they don't get bored bashing Republicans every day. It's like they don't realize they're more obsessive and mean spirited than the people they love to condemn so much.
