They can't even run their own system. My pension fund is yo yo-ing around. Losses one month, gains the next. This is all fine when you are young but once retirement starts to loom up all that crap about ups and downs evening out is cold comfort. I want to retire in 6 years.
Of course fund managers always win because they pay themselves first. A couple of mathematicians actually won the Nobel prize for proving managers cannot beat the market and add no value.
I'm thinking of moving to cash. At least I know what I put in will be there with interest at the end. I don't like red ink. I know what I need and if I want to get into speculative investment I'll do it myself and not leave it to some snotty Gen Y in a suit with an Ipad stuck in his face. I'm proud to say I've already secured my family's future through my own investments and saving outside of pensions and funds.
And the Greeks can go to hell
