Internet blogger? That's the sports editor of The Nation magazine, a man UTNE Reader named one of the "50 Visionaries Who Are Changing Our World".

Would you call Aristotle a liberal or a conservative?

Okay, I'm a liberal and I find the protests from the far-left as posted in the OP to be asinine.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

Who actually watches him? And why should anyone believe his viewers think the same thing he does? And what the hell is UTNE Reader? It looks like you found some obscure crap no one else cares about and then proclaimed that "liberals are outraged".

Who cares that Liberals are outraged that Condi Rice is the trailblazer? Well when someone makes a big deal about something and wins but then complains about their victory, I think it's appropriate to say WTF? What is more important to them? Inclusion or only the 'right' people being included?
Why don't you show an example of someone making a big deal about women not being let in and then being outraged about Condoleeza Rice being let in. Instead of assuming libruls are a hive mind and if one says something they all must believe it.

Speaking for myself, about twice the median household income.

All I heard from the libs was that it was good but long overdue so not really worth celebrating. I wouldn't call that outraged.

I like this. Confronted with overwhelming evidence of liberal derp, all the mediocre minds here claim that this was never a big issue in the first place. Of course it wasn't a big deal - it's the membership rules of a private club - but then liberals made a big deal of it, and then they made asses of themselves.

As far as I can gather, the last Apolyton thread on the subject dates from 2003, with Agathon as the only liberal who really cared about Augusta's membership. So again, who cares?

In response to your inquiry, I have done some investigation, and it turns out liberals work with some sort of organic air-intake engine involving water and a number of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. There are many trace elements required to stabilize the system as well, and a variety of waste materials are produced. It's a shockingly inefficient system, but it works.

This is in stark contrast to conservatives, who run on dilithium and puppy blood. Thanks for asking.

Oh hey look, Conservatives as a monolithic group are still looking for Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat. Oh those silly conservatives.

Speaking of conservatives, it looks like our very own Jaguar and Albert Speer failed to argue against this fellow conservative's Noah's Ark thread from 2002. So you two must be just as dumb as the people actively searching for the Ark.

Do you mean to tell me that Aggie was once something you could describe as "liberal," or indeed fit anywhere on the political spectrum for sane people?

On a political spectrum from 0 to 10, with 0 being "MrFun" and 10 being "Ben Kenobi," Aggie was probably about a -20. It's not that he was that much more liberal than MrFun, it's just that his posts were that much more annoying.

MrFun posts things like "So I guess I'm the only one who's opposed to child sacrifice in Laos ." Agathon would have required twenty paragraphs to say the same thing, and would have somehow mentioned Microsoft in the process.
