In America, if someone of German-descent and someone of Korean-descent have a child, that child is mixed.
If someone of German-descent and someone of African-descent have a child, that child is Black.

If a white guy and an Asian woman have a kid... what race is the kid? Is he Asian now?
Why do different rules apply for Black people?
And while not relevant for Obama, Black Americans are on average 30% European... so the typical biracial child of a Black American and white parent would be 65% European extraction. How is that Black when they're mostly white?
