    Dammit. This hurts more then it should.

    I put down the cat I've had since 8th Grade today. It basically came down to doing what amounted to a daily kitty IV that MIGHT temporarily alleviate his symptoms(rapid weight loss; he went from 10lbs to 5 in 2 months, loss of kidney function) or...well, no other options.

    I don't regret the decision, and know it was the right one but I still feel like ****.

              So sorry to hear that, Lonestar; I know how hard it is. I had to put down both my cats within a year of each other. One was 16 years old, the other 21.

              It was the last time I cried.

                      Sasha is now 15 or 16, and was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma (like, everywhere) almost five years ago. All she gets is twice weekly prednisone and an antidepressant for her appetite. She is still kicking, only with roid rage. I'm beginning to think she might be the Highlander.

                      I know the time is coming at some point. Galnemer is going to be a ****ing wreck.

                            That's awful, Lonestar. I had to put down my cat a few years back after 19 years with her.
