      Bend over.

I'll surprise you and I'll make you sting.

I always expected Frodo or some other Hobbits to come out of the grassy hill
and the people who turned the shire-like landscape into an industrial landscape to be led by Saruman, Grima wormtongue and a horde of Orcs

Like wise I was missing Nazgûl flying around the rings, sitting on their dragons

        But I enjoyed it nevertheless

I thought it was very boring and unspectacular compared with China's, Australia's and Greece. I was expecting something more "technological" high tech, there was not need for that "i am firestarter" prodigy song to be included. And if you are going to just have a bunch of people dancing around make them do choreographies like those of North Korea or Philippine prisons.

Well, that's just not British. We've never been terribly good at all that "obediently fall in line under the totalitarian jackboot" thing. So, dicking about to nasty music was pitched about right.

Could not believe the the US uniforms at the opening ceremony. I thought this was a sporting event. Looks like we sent some sort of paramilitary yachting-and-dressage club. If it weren't so insensitive, I would be tempted to call these the gayest team uniforms ever.

I guess that's what you get when hire Ralph Lauren instead of UnderArmour to outfit your team.

                  Seriously -- BERETS????

We can be thankful that they didn´t include a holster for sidearms

They were better than the British uniforms. Our lot looked like a nightmare from the peak years of Disco.

Gun holsters and cowboy hat would have sucked less. Or better yet, powdered wigs and tricorner hats.

We used to have cowboy hats.

                            I really miss those.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

It was my onnly chance to participate.

Rumors are that an indian invasion fleet have left local waters bound for England
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
