I just want to know if the closing ceremony is going to jizz about their healthcare again with a creepy turn-of-the-20th hospital bed dance routine.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

The Magpie Cafe in Whitby is the best fish and chip shop in Yorkshire (and therefore England).

The NHS has already had its moment in the sun. The closing ceremony will instead pay tribute to the Royal Mail and the Ordnance Survey, the latter being a particularly appropriate choice since OS refuses to acknowledge the existence of Northern Ireland just like Team GB.

I'm someone who's clearly more familiar with Yorkshire than you are.

Harry Ramsden's is a 2nd rate chain of decidely iffy fish & chip shops that are only kept alive by the fact they do cheap deals for busloads of OAPs...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

                      • Closing party wasn't that bad considering it was made by the country of stiff upper lips
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Yes, that is quite so, as Yorkshire consists mostly of Whitby and a particular fish and chip emporium in Whitby. I bow to your evidently superior knowledge.

                          • So apparently Eric Idle sang "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" at the closing ceremony? Sorry I missed that. Probably only thing I'm sorry I missed.

                            • Missed the whole thing. My question is, which immense government bureaucracy did they fap over this time?
