"Capitalism ho!"
Learning that the President only got a B for his 1st grade finger painting project would indeed give us an important insight into his suitability for the job he's already been doing for 4 years.
The 'bad' thing I think is possible from his school records is grades which are not consistent with the honors he was given (editor? of the law review).
This would make people say 'he didn't deserve it', but yes, I agree... for those who would vote for him now this would not mean much.

I think Columbia took him in a wave of affirmative action transfers with subpar records, Harvard Law obviously takes underperforming black candidates and still does, and the law review there actually mandates that blacks and Mexicans get a certain number of editorial positions, regardless of their GPA, brain size, competence, motivation, immigration status or writing competition score. He was the first black Harvard Law Review president because HLR wanted to say, Hey look, we picked a black guy, which kind of defeats the purpose. Or so I thought until America did the same thing.
Would kind of take the mystique away from a supposed "constitutional law professor" to see he never got a good grade in his life, just like 20,000 pages of Mitt Romney's tax returns would make most Americans feel very poor and sexually inadequate.
Also, he probably used an alias at Columbia to pretend to be foreign-born (this was around the same time he wrote in his book cover that he was born in Kenya), before switching back to Barack Obama to sound foreign-born.
I presume you also won't be happy until Obama releases the Fast and Furious documents.
No the point was the hilarious reference to "certificate", (not Long Form) in a not so veiled way of implying birtherism.
Now pat him on the head and say good doggie and he will go away.

Given his poor performance thus far, I would be interested in any grades he might have gotten in any Economics courses he might have taken.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

When your parties chief line of attack is 'The president won't show us his college transcripts! (not that any previous ones have bothered either)' then you're probably in trouble.
In the great tradition of previous presidents responding to unbalanced psychotic claims, the forms need to be released. (Approximately 2 years after taking office)

His record as President is the chief line of attack. His college transcripts would only be amusing.

Oh no no no! Don't you see? If he is refusing to release them, clearly he is hiding something!
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
Bush admitted he had a ton of C's. Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar. Obama cultivates this crap about being a brainiac, and that makes him a fraud.
So in other words your argument is 'hey the President is black and must therefore be stupid and just have been handed his academic credentials'. You could have saved a ton of time if you'd just told us you were a Klan member.
Ann Romney: 'We've Given All You People Need To Know' About Family Finances
WASHINGTON -- Mitt Romney's wife is reinforcing her husband's refusal to make public several years of tax returns, saying "we've given all you people need to know" about the family's finances.
"You know, you should really look at where Mitt has led his life, and where he’s been financially," she said. "He’s a very generous person. We give 10 percent of our income to our church every year. Do you think that is the kind of person who is trying to hide things, or do things? No. He is so good about it. Then, when he was governor of Massachusetts, didn’t take a salary for four years."
Ann Romney told ABC News she thinks the Obama campaign's attacks on her husband have been "beneath the dignity of the presidency." And she said people will decide whom to vote for based on whether their lives would be better under Mitt Romney than President Barack Obama.
She said that ultimately she believes voters are "going to fire the coach."
