There is more money in investment banking but costs are also higher since you normally have to live in a city like NYC but one path to doing well in America is getting a 4 year degree in geology and then working your butt off for a few years.

That's just a four year degree with 8 years experience and you get $220,000 salary and a 30% bonus per year. That's ~$286,000 per year with 8 years experience. Not bad. Live on $50,000 per year after you pay off your house and bank the rest. You'll easily have $1 million in principle in 5 years not counting compound interest on your investments. I doubt you'll get universal acclaim at work as some people claim nor will you automatically be getting girls throwing themselves at you constantly (at least not the type of girls you want in your life long term) but you will do well.

I feel like charlie sheen at this point; all the challenge is gone.

I'm afraid it isn't a chick magnet like being an investment banker and I don't work out as much as KH so even just the young and fit thing no longer works for me and that just leaves the general gold diggers who aren't much fun. Luckily, I already have a steady girlfriend so I don't have to worry about that problem though.
