What do you do with those workers when you've roaded and railroaded the **** out of everything?

Do they just visit the local sulfuric acid vendor or something? Shouldn't they require an acid license?
Car batteries. Where do you top them up?

So... How's your ex-wife (and your car for that matter) doing?

Clearly, car batteries can be used to create a hazardous product and must be regulated.

            You know, like pseudoephedrine.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Send them to conquered territory and replace the POS mines and such the AI players insist on building with high-quality windmills and other, more sensible projects--along with building railroads there, of course. What do you do with your Praetorians when you or the enemy have advanced to the Renaissance?

I was picturing Ye Olde Acid Shoppe or something.

"Good day sir, I require a jar of acid"
                "May I ask what for?"
"Maiming the woman who spurned me"
                "Jolly good"

Well, typically put them in scenic locations where they look nice standing there.

Simple: win before the Renaissance, or at least put myself in a commanding position.

Do you use them as statuary or not?

How would you get such a licence? Perhaps they could do some kind of test with a really punny name?

At which point they are no longer anything special. Fast workers are always superior to the default unit, and don't go obsolete. Before Iron Working and after Lasers and Composites, they let you improve more land, faster.

Anyway, we should probably say "something special or peaceful habit" about ourselves, out of deference to the OP.

...I like naps. That's a peaceful habit, right?

Once you have roads everywhere the movement bonus becomes irrelevant.
