Shots!

Now that I might legally discuss my alcohol consumption and I may now legally fully enjoy bars, please recommend shots for me to try.

My favorite so far is the Oatmeal Cookie.
1/3 buttershots
1/3 baileys
1/3 hot damn

but if you're making them on you're own you've gotta use the 100 proof hot damn, otherwise it's a very sissy shot. Oh man it is so tasty.

Also, please recommend beers. I've been trying as many as possible. I'm prefer light over dark, but am not opposed to dark.

- Cointreau

I mix none of them. I prefer each of them straight.

I'm more of a sipper than a shooter. Try Highland Park 12 if you have a chance. Or if you want something sweeter, Taylor Fladgate 10 Tawny Port.

I prefer to sip whiskey too.

And honestly, I don't drink much anymore. I had ~5 beers Friday night and that is one of four? times this year that I had more than 4 drinks in a night. Most weeks I have one drink. I haven't done any shots this year.

Do they sell Hansa beer over there? It's a good light beer.

Avoid Tuborg like the the plague btw.

Otherwise, I'm not that into beer. It's good, but red wine, whisky and cognac is so much better.

So when I started this thread I preferred light beers, but now I'm in love with dark. and porters especially. Great Lakes Brewing Company has a porter called Endmund Fitzgerald. SO tasty. and they have one called Lake Erie Monster which I'm going to try tonight.
