I have taken simvastatins for some six months an recently shifted to atorvastatin. They probably do what they are supposed to do, but the tiredness that they apparently create are killing me.

I take 40 mg of simvastatin at bedtime. They say bedtime for a reason, I would imagine.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Sure , bedtime intake is for a reason, but I get so ****ing tired that 12-16 hours of sleep isn't that unusualWith or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

No, that's excessive. How much do you take? Maybe you should bring it up to the doctor.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

80 mg atorvastatin. It apparently isn't so timebound as simvastatin, but yeah, It will probably be a good idea with a doc appointment. With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

That may be the one that got my blood pressure down to something absurd like 75/35 and freaked my doctor out, and he cut the dose in half. I cut two pills in half, but I can't remember which one did such a thing, for sure.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Yup. Obviously I have little experience with the drug myself, but my uncle developed rhabdo as a result, and that can be life-threatening if not identified."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

Nope, neither pains or cramps, though, will visit my doc (wich was my intention anyways - doesn't have much trust in quacks found on the internet).

Your dosage level is pretty high. Are you sure you can't manage on a lesser dose? I would ask the doctor that.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

I've tried increasing my oily fish intake and the quantity of unprocessed oats and oatbran I eat. I don't eat very much fatty red meat or chicken skin, but every so often the smell of grilled or fried bacon takes hold of my sensory receptors and my willpower fades to nothing.
I still don't eat the rind, though.Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.
