Candy and catsup stains are very similar to each other for the carpet maintenance. First, get the excess candy or catsup up by blotting with a paper towel or scraping with a butter knife. For catsup stains only, go a step further to neutralize the spot with an ammonia-water mixture as described for blood stains.

The funny thing is even on the forums for the local newspaper, where you'd assume most of the people would be from here, they don't get these kind of Spambots advertising local companies. that the posting doesn´t even include an adress for the company or the like...
just a tip with regards to dealing with candy or catsup...
if I were to advertise a cleaning company, I would at least add something like:

Carpets in the US are usually wall to wall floor covering, so they can't be taken to a shop.
Carpets are cleaned in the home.
Rugs can be taken to a shop.

Use a spounge with carpet cleaner to get as much of it up as possible, pat dry with a paper towel to try to get up anything that remains, and if there is still anything left use a steam cleaner on it.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.Comment
