Happened right in my backyard (not really, but I live in Janesville so it's close enough).

I didn't go. I was to busy shoving bamboo under my fingernails to bother going to something as painful as a Santorum rally.

Santorum parties aren't painful as long as you're the pitcher

Sounds boring. You should have had a blind midget chiseling out your teeth instead
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

So yeah it seems like Santorum was going to say '******'.

No it didn't. He said "anti-war governmentnik" whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.

I agree with gribbler on this one. In the shortened version I heard, it sounds like he was going to say something like negotiator or something like that. Not a Santorum fan in any way, but this looks more like a case of people who want to find racism finding it anywhere and any way they can.

It doesn't matter. The perception is there and this may be the nail in the coffin to give Romney the undisputed nomination

I doubt this will even be a blip on the radar

The coffin is already being buried so I don't think so. And I'd hope his loony social conservatism would kill his candidacy instead of false accusations of racism.

Maybe he was just going to say niggardly Kenyan or something innocuous like that.

(Though that would definitely not be a fair assessment of any Kenyan who had ballooned the deficit by 5 trillion dollars!)

Great thread title. It was unclear whether "Oerdin moment" meant that Santorum said something racist, doggedly defended a completely incorrect position, or talked in great detail about the unimpressive meal he had just eaten. The curiosity to find out which made me immediately open the thread.

The thread itself is an epic fail, however, and I still don't know what Santorum did because I'm not going to start an hour-long video to find out. Provide a ****ing written summary of the Oerdin moment, Alby.
