  • Why I lose friends (people being stupid on the internet)

Everyday, I see stupid ass **** on my facebook. I only have 345 friends but that's enough for me to see half a dozen pieces of stupid **** a day. And I am compulsive to correct people which creates arguments. Just look at today's ****:

I explained that but also added this part:

What it does potentially do is affect the cash flow of those at the very bottom of the gas chain... the small gas stations that now won't be taking in any revenue (not just from gas, but from their store) for a day. They'll make up the gas revenue from the shift in the time of purchasing but the hiccup in their cash flow could hurt them. So great, hurt small businesses!

It's just mind-boggling me that people walk around thinking this ****. AHHHHH!!!

That's ten times as many friends as I have. Unfortunately, I see far more than .6 pieces of stupid **** a day.

                          You're trolling me?

Real quick, all you're doing is shifting the date of purchase. To lower gas prices, we need to use less gas across the board and across time. By delaying the same purchase a day later or making it a day earlier, you're not changing demand at all, since you're buying the same amount, just changing the TIMING of your purchase. You'll still be buying and using that same tank of gas.

They get their cash a day earlier when everyone waits in line to get gas on the 14th. Boo hoo?
