In Argentina there a real leftists who really believe "deserts" are an imperialist myth created in order to ignore the populations of deserts (be them bushmen, beduins or mongol nomads) giving those territories a false quality of emptiness that allows imperialistic land grabs.
Here we used to call the Argentine occupation of Patagonia Conquista del Desierto (Conquest of the Desert) but leftists have problems with the desert part, because that territory many times bigger than Germany had perhaps 14 thousand nomadic nativesI need a foot massageComment
