It doesn't really matter where the oil comes from. Buying oil from Canada has the same effect on Saudi Arabia and Iran as it does when we buy directly from them. Oil is fungible.Comment

Just raise the taxes on gas so the price reaces 2-3$/l - then your problem will be solved
