    Some points he makes:

    1) Vietnam was genocide
    2) Aggressive foreign policy has not thwarted America's decline, hence its tragic uselesness
    2) It will be longer than what most people think before China takes over the US (they'll have their own "baby boomer" generation problem soon)
    3) "Financialization" of the US economy and offshoring are wrong. Apparently, he believes the ability to truly innovate correlates with access & integration with factories. People whose wealth depend on money are increasingly disconnected from people whose success is still tied to a "material" economy.

      Simple. Redefine unemployment. Governments do this every few years so it will appear capitalist systems still work. You would probably have 20%+ unemployment if you include all Americans who are working under 30 hours per week (or 120 hrs per month), or have given up on looking for work, or are 'self employed' but still making less than a living wage.
