  • What's on your Super Bowl snack menu?

I have two dozen chicken wings (boiled then baked) slathered with Mike's Red Hot, an assortment of chips, a party platter of veggies & cheeses, all the stuff needed for a taco bar to make Tijuana style mini street tacos, and we'll maybe order a pizza when everyone gets here. There is, of course, a cooler full of beer & soda to go with that. Anyone else inviting friends over to watch the big game?

No beer, because I'm watching it on my own as my work only deigned to give me the morning off on Friday. In November it was announced that we weren't allowed any leave in either January or February because we'll have the auditors in, but I managed to squeak a morning off due to tonnes of overtime in January.

Gatorade, saltines, and if I start feeling brave, maybe some chicken noodle soup.

Whatever random snacks that will be at the South Wales Warriors Super Bowl Party at the Polynesia in town. Running a bit late, trying to choose between my old Warriors shirt, or my Bengals shirt...

          Ideas?

Supporting the local team is usually a good idea even if they're not playing nor even in the same league. You never know, someone might see you wearing the local team's shirt and decide to buy a ticket to a game in the future.

We made pulled pork sandwiches with Mrs. T's homemade BBQ sauce and cole slaw.

Didn't watch the game--wasn't even aware of who was playing until today--but we had brown sugar-cinnamon pork and apples, followed by popcorn and soda as we watched Drive. The wife wasn't a fan of the movie; I thought it was okay.
