              Personally, I have no problem with volunteer run awarness raising fundraising events as long as the funds go to the nonprofit cause. I also have no problem with t-shirts, caps, ribbons etc if the schwag is donated by businesses and the money from sales goes to the non profit cause.
              There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.
