My pointless, stupid and pedantic contribution to the great debate about the correct spelling of "you all" in Texas. A picture of a Texan shaped cake with the spelling "ya'll" is by no means conclusive evidence of a correct spelling. The cake maker may be a poor speller of Texan words or the cake may have been made by a person who is not even a Texan.

Furthermore, this evidence may have been fabricated. Tupac may have baked and inscribed this cake himself to present as "evidence". The provenance of the cake is thus in doubt.

I personally believe that Slowwy has the advantage in this debate about Texan spelling. Slowwy is Texan whereas Tupac is an Oklahoma whiteboy. What would an Oklohoman whiteboy know about the subleties of Texan spelling.

Anyone who puts an apostrophe in "ya" is an imbecile.

All of you. You all. Y'all. All of you suck. You all suck. Y'all suck. Not ALL of you, but you get my point. Just because some wanker in California misspelled it on a cake doesn't really mean much. The fact that you think it does matter much, does matter.

All of ya. Ya all. Ya'll. All of ya suck. Ya all suck. Ya'll suck. How ya all doin'? How ya'll doin'? Ya all come back now, ya here! Ya'll come back now, ya here!

Christ, just try to say "ya all" quickly. You'll naturally reinvent "ya'll". Occam's ****ing Razor.

Y'all (pronounced as one syllable (/jɔːl/ yawl)) is a contraction of the words "you" and "all". It is used as a plural second-person pronoun. Commonly believed to have originated in the Southern United States, it is primarily associated with Southern American English, African-American Vernacular English, and some dialects of the Western United States.[2] It is also found in the English-speaking islands of the West Indies.
