To be fair, do any of the other candidates support marijuana legalization?

I'm pretty sure Ron Paul does.

I have a little difficulty hearing the name of the medication he says he's taking to alleviate his muscular dystrophy. Is he saying he's taking something called "mediscakin", or is he saying that marijuana preserves his muscular strength?

Sort of. He just wants the Federal government out of the picture, but he's A-OK with a state being as draconian as they want about it. Paul is not a champion of individual liberty as his supporters delude themselves, he's just a "states' rights" authoritarian instead of a Federal government one.

No, he doesn't think state-imposed tyranny is a good thing, he just thinks that state constitutions allow the states to do a lot of things that the US constitution doesn't give the federal government the power to do.

Exactly. Many libertarians would unwittingly support state-sanctioned tyranny over federal tyranny.
