    While I was trawling through some recent vinyl purchases recently, I had cause to remember a K-Tel compilation that I listened to back in the early 70s.

    It was this one:

          I love that Shawn Colvin track- unfortunately it always brings back to mind a friend of mine who died, as I'd been listening to the album from which it came whilst journeying to visit him in hospital...

          I have the Kate Bush track on a c.d. single somewhere, and I like the Indigo Girls' track too- that's also on a c.d. single I have. Those are very interesting compilations. Not quite sure what Ice T is doing inbetween the Wild Swans and the Ramones, but it shakes things up....
