You never responded to that article I posted that clearly showed how not in favor free speech they are. I'm pretty disappointed that you aren't letting evidence affect your perception and you've retreated into cognitive dissonance when it come to the Robert's Court and Free Speech.
Here is that article again.

I'm puzzled by what happens if Americans see buttocks or breasts or hear the occasional profanity on free to air television.
Do their eyes fall out ?
Do their ears start belching flame ?
Do their brains beat themselves against the interior of their skulls in wild frenzy ?
Given the amount of violent death you're allowed to see on U.S. television, I find it strange that people get worked up over uninjured naked bodies and words you can read in English literature...Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.
...patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone. Edith Cavell, 1915

You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

If you are offended by something you choose to watch, watch something else.
If you don't want your kids to see something, be a real parent and monitor/select/control what they can watch.
But don't force your version of morality down everybody's throat.
It's silly to have a different set of rules for over the air broadcasts and those on cable. Let the networks decide what they want to show.Keep on Civin'

Doesn't mean the argument that 'the government doesn't have the right to regulate' is idiotic.
If you think this is about 'boobs on the TV' then you are not looking at the big picture.
