  • Advice/Recoms sought for trip to NYC (1.5 weeks) and Wash DC (2-3 days) in Feb

So I'm going to the States for 2 weeks on 16 Feb - 28 Feb. Last 3 days are in Wash, the rest in NYC. Travel and accomodation planned and booked already.

    On agenda:
    (1) The major museum/landmark circuit in both.
    (2) Some shows in NYC.

    1. Recommended places to visit?
    2. Recommended food/restaurants?
    3. Can you buy prepaid SIM cards with American numbers in the US? Roaming is pretty expensive.
    4. Comments or other advice?
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier
