Who should the US invade next?

If you are getting all "Mid-Atlantic" then you have to differentiate the "Deep South" (Mississippi, Alabama, South Georgia, and Florida Panhandle) as well.

I think its a shifting line. As I've heard from many a Southerner that South Florida is not the South (even though it is obviously below the Mason-Dixon Line). I've also heard the same for Atlanta (which I like to think of a blend of Southern and Northern).

Not to be perceived like a school bully and in order to erase that perception internationally plus to increase the standing like any self-respecting nation would want - no more invasions of puny countries - Afghanistan, Iraq, Grenada, Somalia and the like. US should pick up a fight against a respectable opponent. Someone who could both provide the natural resources they crave, and be a real challenge.

Clearly US should invade Canada, admittedly after initial surprise, Canadians would conquer the US instead but it would benefit everyone - the US and the world (except the Canadians, can you imagine ruling over 300mil americans ). However like the north defeated the south 150 years ago and the world benefited from it for more than a century, it needs to happen again . Canadians will never attack first, but if US starts the fight, it will have only one outcome - Canadian North America.

The world would be a better place.

You have a point. It would make more sense to invade after they finished building their nukes. That way we take out Iran and Israel with just one blow.

No.

It's like Miami, yeah it's South of the Mason-Dixon, but it would be a stretch to say that Northern Virginia is culturally "Southern". You do get the occassional try-hard who pretends that he is though.
