  • If polytubbies were Homeric Heroes

I think Kid would be Odysseus. Do you have other examples?

Kid isn't nearly clever enough to be Odysseus. He might be a good Narcissus though.

Kid would be Polyphem the cyclop. After losing his eye.

Faded Glory would be Orpheus for his ability to come back from the land of the dead.

I'd love to know the mental processes behind linking Homer's most cunning hero with Kid.

If really had to match Kid with something Homeric, it would probably be an oar.

I thought this would work without too many of these, but here we go:

I thought you were serious - I mean, the dude somehow got lost in the Aegean Sea for twenty years, which is at the Moses level of direction impairment

Well, I'll think over that whole Odysseus thing then. Meanwhile, I declare Half-Lotus being Cassandra.

I wouldn't call it "serious" nerd stuff - that would be "If polytubbies were programming languages" (I would be INTERCAL)

Outrageous, this threadjack. We could at least agree to have Homeric programming languages as a topic of compromise
