  • How is the balance between head and tails maintained?

So I flipped a coin 100 times, and it came up heads 52 times and tails 48 times. This is freaking me out. I think maybe God is trying to tell us something? This seems to happen in other countries too.

What I want to know is why I have an expected return of 35 when I roll 10d6. I just don't understand it. Can someone teach me to multiply and divide? I have a multivar exam on monday and I think arithmetic might be on the test.

      I don't have any clue what a 10d6 is.

When I flip my cats they always land on their feet. Cats = Gods

Don't forget the Egyptian furries. Don't let their fursonas languish in the Duat unremembered!

Getting 50 heads and 50 tails is 8% more probable than getting 52 heads and 48 tails.

You are forgetting the probability that it lands on it edge.

                            For gribbler: 10d6 = ten six-sided dice.

                              No, it's 10 rolls of a 6 sided die.
