  • My grandfather had a .410

Saw shootings with it in my youth. .410 was a beast

My other grandfather had a 710.

    Which one would win?

A Remington 710? That was my first rifle.

A .410 is a girly shot gun. Given to small children to protect themselves from the likes of Jerry Sandusky.

One of my great-great-grandfathers was a gamekeeper. He had a punt gun.

I prefer to think of the .410 as a massive pistol. Snake charmer

Interesting article, but I don't agree with it. About 1/3 through it, I quit reading; but he didn't address the issue of an errant shot killing someone as they sleep in another house/apartment. At least not in the first 1/3 of his writing.

.410 is a good camp gun. Snake charmer being a model and an apt term.
