My two favourite ones of my own were the Pearl Necklace thread or the one where I suggested that instead of building expensive robots we should genetically engineer higher apes to act as our slaves (but on second thoughts, probably easier to genetically engineer stupid compliant humans).

Who did that thread "Apolyton in 1900" or something like that? They basically took a screen shot of the OTF then changed all of the thread titles to reflect similar situations in late victorian language.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
