Give your estimated score - it'll probably be as accurate (if not more so) than your "real" score

Pretty close to dead center economically--perhaps a touch to the left--and a few spaces down towards libertarian. I guess that puts me where Sloww is, which may or may not be accurate as an overall view. Don't most people view themselves as moderate, and therefore reasonable, by default?

Against abortion, for gay rights, against prayer in schools and creationism, against the Death Penalty, In God We Trust on coins is technically wrong but who gives a damn, we should start by decriminalizing individual possession of pot and go from there where drugs are concerned, hate crime and affirmative action are BS, I have no problem with nuclear power, nation-building is moronic. On economics I generally plead ignorance but probably lean a little left. I think our most pressing concern should be getting our budget within spitting distance of balance. That puts me...somewhere.

              Your political compass

              Economic Left/Right: -4.12
              Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.23

I moved a bit to the right. I was 'close' to moving much farther to the right.

i seemed to have moved considerably to the left, although a lot of the questions do suck hairy balls.

As many has already said, many of the questions are stupid

"A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system"

That's not really a question, but it's a fact. For that party it is a significant advantage, no doubt about it! But having a one-party state is not good for anyone, except for people who like that party

Also there was one question where one important word couldn't be translated, so I had to guess if it meant one thing or the completely opposite thing... I hoped I picked right
This space is empty... or is it?

From the center I am on the fourth square towards the left, and on the second square towards Authoritarian

                    Economic Left/Right: -3.38
                    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.49

So I tried using their "Crowd Chart" feature but the result was kind of hard to read and I can't figure out how to post it here. It might have something to do with the massive URL. Oh, and the average score is -1.6 on the economic axis (with a standard deviation of 4.1) and -3.0 on the "social" axis (with a standard deviation of 2.1). It looks like the population of this forum might have a leftward slant after all, despite right wingers being the loudest and most obnoxious here.

edit: this link will show the values for the data points in case anyone wants to tell me I made a mistake.

It's not the forum, it's the reality that has a leftward slant.

The poll seems to have a libertarian slant to it. Every time I just randomly select one of the options I end up libertarian. (Either that or they can detect when someone is not observing the rules of the testing and properly label them anarchists...)

Strongly agreeing with everything gets 0/4.36 and strongly disagreeing with everything gets 0/-4.36. I guess your "random" choices involved a lot of disagreeing.
