I suppose I'd try to moderate them, assuming my better instincts prevailed. It's pretty hard to keep people from beating the snot out of someone who just cost them thousands of dollars.

One point that hasn't been brought up today-
It seems like a lot of people turned up for today's protest in NYC. Not just your crazy hippy types, but a lot of middle class looking types, some with their children.
This seems to suggest that the 'occupy' movement has struck a chord with at least some of the middle class and that there is more to come, dispite what pundits and municipal officials might want.
And I still wonder - in a few weeks the Wall St. bonuses will be announced. Will the highly deserved multi million dollar bonuses rekindle the proles hatred of the moneyed class? And will things escalate? There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

About a thousand. So no.
EDIT: that was earlier. They seem to have gotten up to 2-3k after the union people got out of work....Last edited by KrazyHorse; November 17, 2011, 23:31.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

The legit news oranizations say 'several thousand'

... you say 'about a thousand'. What is your source? There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

Protest rallies in DC routinely churn out numbers much larger than this. The only thing notable about this protest movement is how much noise they are making and the fact that they don't seem to think laws apply to them. That's the only reason they are getting attention. If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

There were about a thousand during the day, which swelled to 2-3k at around 6:30 or so (as union members joined).12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

As for the "biased" reporting of OWS, yes they are bised in the same way that Pravda was biased.
