The pledge is a trifling irrelevance which could be phased out at any time with no harmful effect. I, at least, wasn't forced to say it, only to stand up for it. I knew a kid who refused to do even that, and didn't get in any trouble.

Asher, just because Tebow does an ad in support of this organization does not mean he agrees with every point of the organization. Why do you assume 100% compliance with this group? The ad was specifically about abortion although it didn't really say anything direct. Find me where Tebow makes statements in support of the other positions you ascribe to him.

That's a bit silly. So it'd be ok to film an ad for the Klan because you like the kindred spirit but don't necessarily agree with the race stuff? If you're a public figure and you openly support an organization then you are going to be tied to their manifesto, simple as that.
