"Die in a fire!" is a bit too ambiguous as a threat / evil wish / whatever - there's a vast difference between dying from having your skin melted off or dying from being slow-roasted, and dying of smoke inhalation.

Consider also the difference between being hanged with a noose that has six inches of slack and a noose with sixty feet of slack - the former is slow death from strangulation, the latter is quick death from beheading.

Or dying from hypothermia from immersion up to the neck in cold water, and dying from corpsification from immersion up to the neck in liquid helium

Or being buried alive under six feet of soil, and being buried alive under a trillion tons of gravel
