I think it's adorable and hilarious that kentonio thinks Paul Ryan is evil. Evil for what exactly? Do I even want to know? Is it some bull**** like "murdering social security" or something similar?

Paul Ryan wants to dismantle the already poor safety net that keeps millions of Americans above water. If he and his GOP cronies get their way, millions of people will be struggling to shelter, feed their families and have any access to healthcare. When someone kills a couple of people they are routinely branded 'heartless and evil', apparently setting in motion a plan that will inevitably lead to the deaths of thousands of people is 'brave' and 'conservative'. Bull****.

Also lawl @ JM and Kentonio. There's no such thing as positive racism. Acceptance to colleges, etc is a zero sum game. You should be smart enough to realize this, JM, but I excuse kentonio because he's demonstrated his idiocy enough to make it unsurprising to me that he adores such nonsense.

Oh you silly little boy. Access to higher education and well paying jobs is disordinately skewed towards those with money. Despite the great American dream of anyone being able to achieve anything, the simple fact is that the vast majority of people either stay in the same social step on the ladder where they started or move a single step up or down. When a huge subsection of society are starting out at a huge disadvantage, that means their children and their childrens children are going to be equally disadvantaged, and this could take a century or more to equal out. AA is an attempt to prevent that and try and level out the playing field.

Kentonio, it's become an issue of degree, not of real distinction between the soft 'liberal' Elite (the Right) and the far Right. Obama has given birth to an unmistakably Republican budget, but there is no need for a day-time talk show paternity test. Everyone knows who that ugly baby's daddy is. Since becoming President, Obama has been making out quite publicly with George Bush's corporate friends, but that shouldn't be surprising since Obama has always told everyone in range of his voice that his main goal in life is to forge a grand consensus with the Republicans.

The result is an Obama budget that is all sliced up, like the loser in a knife fight, except it was Obama and his corporate executives-on-loan at the White House that did all the cutting. Obama is showing such extraordinary talent for obliterating poor and working class programs across the board, he's making Republicans look redundant and obsolete.

This shouldn't be a surprise. He told everyone willing to listen how much he admired Reagan, after all. So, why be surprised when you get a Reagan-type budget? Obama has always been a dangerous, corporate creature and those chickens of the so-called Change/Hope Revolution of 2008 have been coming home to roost over the past 3 years. It is our mistakes as a people to be hoodwinked by the potential of this Black president and his aureate words, dazzled by his skin color and charm. But like the frog that allows the scorpion to hitch a ride on his back across the swollen river, Black and progressive MISLEADERS act shocked and hurt when Obama stings them with his deadly budget halfway through his term. But the frog should have known the nature of a scorpion. Obama's corporate character was no secret to anyone except those who wished not to know.

And as for this Paul Ryan and his Reich-Wing cronies, they are simply furthering their cause that they have been so successful at for four centuries. They are the wolves that show their teeth in a snarl and it is always evident where we stand with them. The so-called 'liberals' are the deceiving foxes, who also show their teeth, but pretend to be smiling.

I caution you to not run from the growling wolf into the open jaws of the 'smiling' fox.
