  • Why are Ron Paul supporters such insufferable bug-eyed fanatics?

They are, apparently to a man/woman/thing, utterly convinced that he is inevitably poised to sweep to power and change the world. I'm looking forward to the tantrums already.

This has been a great mystery of American politics for something like 30 years.

I don't think that he's likely to win, but I'd appreciate having a President who recognized that wars are an expensive luxury.
        John Brown did nothing wrong.

People are so desperate for change they will cling to anybody who is different from the two parties.

Sounds like Obama supporters in 2008.

Ron Paul's whole anti-war thing is admirable. Everything else, not so much.

so far there are no cites in this thread, so can i assume that everybody is wrong with no factual statements to back them up?

also please cite from legit sources as only Oerdin is allowed to cite from The Onion.

also, when you quote to reply to this, please don't make it easy to read and please be as inconcise as possible. Like line-quoting half a page posts for example.

His anti-war stance also applies to the War on Drugs though, so it's a twofer.

What is that site, just a series of crappy photoshops with a few recycled in-jokes in common? Or is there some deeper message my mind cannot comprehend?
