Although IHOP hasn't been the same since they took liver and onions off the menu
It's friggin impossible to find a restaurant in Ohio that serves liver and onions, and I'm not masochistic enough to cook it myself

IHOP is pretty good too.
Which one is better depends on the situation and the particular franchise element.
Sometimes IHOP feels too fancy...

The best two of this type that I have been to recently are not franchise and are in/near College Park.
One was the College Park Diner.
The other is a former McDs which an immigrant opened up. The place looks a bit rundown... but quite cheap and tasty. He is the only chef, works from morning until late at night, the only 'waitress' is his wife, and sometimes his young son helps. Everything is disposable.
Great place.

However, the manager at the one I went to in rochester refused point-blank to sell me OR kuciwalker a funny face because we were "too old for funny faces". **** YOU ms manager, I want a funny face. I'm old enough to vote and buy cigarettes and if I want a funny face YOU SHOULD ****ING SELL ONE TO ME YOU WHORE.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?
