Who said ANYTHING about being "opposed to scripture"? There's plenty of room in the middle between "X is infallible and literally God" on the one hand and "X is totally wrong" on the other. I don't know what you mean by "paraphrase Bibles," and neither does Wiki. The closest I can find is "Biblical paraphrase," which points me to something that seems totally irrelevant.

I HAVE to believe he's trolling. No one is this ridiculous or prone to demonizing those who agree with you on like 80% of things regarding faith (including the important one of Jesus Christ being the Son of God, dying for the sins of all mankind and rising again on the 3rd day). Some of the leaps he is making (Elok believes the Bible is useless?! What?) are so incredulous, he HAS to be making it all up.

He has also never answered Elok's question as to whether Kid has read the entire Bible (for full disclosure sake, I have not finished the entire Bible, though I have read the entire New Testament, the entire Pentatuech [Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy], all the Historical Books [Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2nd Samuel, 1 Kings, 2nd Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2nd Chronicles, Ezra, Nehimiah, Esther, and Job - currently I'm making my way through Psalms and will continue with the Wisdom books and go through the Prophets).
