  • What should I make for Galnemer for dinner tonight?

She worked at the library today, and finished the first draft of her new book last night, so I want to make her something simple, but nice.

Likely side dish(es): rice and salad for the kabobs; potato and salad for the pork loin.

Your third option makes me suggest Banana beer

One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Kebabs provided they are marinaded correctly and it would be nice if you included some veggies on the kebab as they add a nice contrast of textures.

Naturally there are veggies on the kebab. I'm not a savage.

I'd go with kebabs. What do you use to marinate them, wine?

Also, apropos of nothing, did you ever watch Machete?

EDIT: Come to think of it, you've probably already made your decision. Whoops, didn't look at the time...

Still haven't got the chance to see Machete, but that's up in the next few in my queue.

I usually do spice rubs, as opposed to marinades, especially when it comes to beef.

For the record, I went with kebabs, to much acclaim from my good ladywife. Much thanks, Poly.
