For once I think Denny's is on to something.

Baconalia. A whole menu featuring bacon centric dishes. Sure, it's been going on for a while but I just tried it for the first time tonight and all I can say is... A maple bacon ice cream sundae? Genius. Pure. Genius.

I always thought of Denny's as only a place to get late night subpar food when you had no other option but, while the food is still subpar, they actually do something sort of interesting once in a while. I normally avoid McDonald's but make an exception when they're offering McRibs so I might start treating Denny's the same way instead of always avoiding them.

BTW McD's is supposedly going to be offering McRibs in the US again next month. Lightening could strike twice and I might use one of my 2-3 McD's visits per year next month.
