  • Exchanging minuscule amounts of foreign currency.

I have a few Euros and a couple of British pounds in my change box. Does anyone know where or even if I can exchange locally or online?

I think you can only change notes. I'm in need of some Romanian Leu for next week...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I have 20 USD that I'd like to exchange for 20 GBP. Can anyone help me?

I'll send you 2 GPB for 20 USD. I'll even throw in a Jamaican penny to sweeten the deal.

Just keep them as a memento.

You're never going abroad again? I like to keep all my useless foreign currency in a plastic bag so I can retrieve it whenever I go back. That's how my parents always did it too.

Unfortunately, no. The International court at the Hague has charged me with crimes against humanity, slave trading, and war crimes.

It tried that in the late 90s. Turns out my lira, pesetas, francs and marks became worthless in the early 00s. My drachmas were worthless before then.

Okay, look. All I have to say is there was a little drinking, maybe some partying which eventually led joining an Albanian slave trading syndicate with connections to former members of the Serbian Guard and the next thing you know, the international court is all over me for supposed "crimes."

I always spend every last pound/euro/liri etc at the airport before I leave. If I have too much money, I find a Starbucks - a venti fancy-ass coffee and tiny sandwich will clear out the the wallet. If that doesn't work, hit the airport bar and have a couple of double shots of 18 yr old scotch.
