Frankfurt and Manchester are definitely doable depending on the time of the week.

Yeah, alas I am not back in Frankfurt until next Monday.

What is week 38 on a standard Gregorian calendar? I get these week numbers waved at me all the time but have no idea when they are...

Koeln and Moenchengladbach are a bit of a hike considering I am over there to work (they are about 200km from where I am working, Frankfurt is about 50km, Mainz is 10 or 15km). And I'm in London the weekend before you arrive. When are you going to be Oop North?

And what are you up to in Manchester anyway? It's a great place...I left London to move to Manchester with free choice (I am not bound to any particular location any more).

If you were flying out of Frankfurt the day after I would've been in the airport around then too!

Our distributor's office is located somewhere between Manchester and Birmingham, So I will be flying to Manchester from continent. I have some meetings with several major accounts in the UK that we are developing right now. (like National Grid) This includes visiting Newcastle, apparently. :/

Newcastle is actually quite a nice city. Birmingham is a sh*thole.

Just to qualify...apparently they have done a lot with the middle of Birmingham in recent years...but the rest of it looks like hell to me.

TBQH, I imagine most of England, except London, to be a Cold, Grey, North European Post-Industrial ****hole, ala the Nord-Rhein region in Germany.

Mmmm, cold and grey...I like it. I've worked in hot climates - it really does my head in. It rarely gets into the 20s here, always seems to be cloudy and raining. Ahhhhh, glorious I prefer a fairly chilly climate myself...anything in the 20s and I start to slowly die. But Manchester is a cool place, much prefer the nightlife to London myself, cooler environment too, very modern but also a lot of industrial era architecture (now largely renovated). And if you are in this area of the country, York is worth a visit I may be slightly biased, as a Yorkshireman and this is particularly close to my native area of the world, but it is very nice.
